Appointments

During the Covid pandemic patients will have a telephone appointment with the doctor before a face to face appointment is bookable.

Urgent Appointments

For urgent appointments please inform the receptionist of the priority.
If you feel able to give information about why you are calling, it helps our reception staff to triage appropriately and assist you with your problem in the best way possible.

The amount of patients we care for has increased by over 30% in the last two years, thanks in part to the closure of the Ashford health centre. Thankfully our waiting times are still comparatively short, due to the hard work and triaging of our clinical and reception staff. We thank you for your patience, and we always aim to get your problems sorted out efficiently and with care.

Please remember that each appointment should be to discuss one or two ‘problems’ only. When people come with a list of 6 or 7 problems, it is difficult to do justice to them.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately a small minority of patients are in the habit of not turning up for their appointments and this deprives others of the time available.

Only patients from the European Union (EU) and countries with reciprocal arrangements with the UK are entitled to NHS treatment. Patients who do not fall within this category are seen as private patients and the cost for this is £40.00 per consultation, so please encourage friends and relatives visiting from overseas, to take out health insurance cover before leaving their country.
