Repeat Prescriptions

Order your medication online

Patients on regular repeated medication are asked to submit their prescription well in advance of their medication running out.

Prescription requests will not be taken over the telephone as serious mistakes can occur.

We require two complete working days to process your prescription request.
Regular medication can be issued for up to six months; the chemist will then dispense the medication at two monthly intervals. This is known as ‘Batch Prescribing’. Please enquire whether this may be suitable for your regular medication.

Prescription Fees

View the cost of prescriptions on NHS.UK: Prescription charges.

You can also find out if you are entitled to free prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment in our consulting room to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
